Our mission is to operate and manage the Tunnels in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner both for the benefit of local users and longer distance traffic, so as to support the social and economic well being of the region. We will also provide a vital link in the regional and national road networks and reduce the adverse impact of traffic on the Tyne & Wear conurbation.
