New Tyne Crossing exhibition for East Howdon

A special exhibition about plans for the New Tyne Crossing is to be held for residents of East Howdon who will be most affected by the scheme on the north bank of the river.

The exhibition will be open from 3pm on Tuesday, 31 July at East Howdon Community Centre followed by a public meeting at 6pm.

The exhibition was shown last weekend (13 to 16 July) at Wallsend Town Hall and Jarrow Community Centre.

Further meetings with community groups on both banks of the river will be organised over the next few weeks.
