New Tyne Crossing exhibition for Jarrow
A special exhibition outlining plans for the New Tyne Crossing is to be held
for residents in Jarrow who will be affected by the scheme on the south bank
of the river.
In particular, the exhibition will focus on the proposed options for a new junction onto the A19 at either Simonside or Jarrow.
The exhibition will take place at St Bedes Church, Chapel Road on Monday August 13 from 5pm, followed by a public meeting at 6pm which will provide an opportunity for local people to hear more details about proposals for the new crossing.
