The Inquiry commenced at 10.00 am when it heard the evidence of Mr Nicholas Boldrini, an objector in relation to the Gaslight Public House. He was cross-examined by Mr Sauvain on behalf of the PTA and asked questions by the Inspector.
Mr Neil Taylor the Regional Manager of the Highways Agency then addressed the Inquiry at the invitation of the Inspector responding to a number of questions, which were put to him by the Inspector.
The Inquiry adjourned at 11.20 am.
Following
the Inspector’s
accompanied site visit on Wednesday, 9 April 2003 the Inquiry will reconvene
at 10.00 am on Tuesday, 15 April 2003 when
evidence will be presented on behalf of Amec.
