NTC PUBLIC INQUIRY DIARY FOR 5TH MARCH 2003
Day 2
Mr Gordon Henderson presented his evidence to the Inquiry on Traffic and Transport. In particular Mr Henderson addressed the key features of the proposal and its objectives, details of new traffic impact has been assessed, and the forecast impacts on the A19 corridor and associated road network, a summary of the accident benefits, details of the economic benefits and the potential for public transport improvements.
Questions were put to Mr Henderson by Friends of the Earth (ST Branch), North of England Green Party, North East Combined Transport Activists (NECTAR), Tyne Crossings Alliance and the Inspector.
The Inquiry will recommence at 10.00am on Thursday 6 March 2003 when the TWPTA will continue to present its case, with Mr Simpson delivering evidence.
He will be followed by Mr Chism, Mr Jubb, Mr Emms and Mr Fenwick.
