Following
representations made by organisations and individuals in response to
the PTA’s application
to build the New Tyne Crossing, the Deputy Prime Minister announced on
20 September 2002 that a Public Inquiry
should be held into the scheme.
The office of the Deputy Prime Minister has now confirmed the date and location
of the Inquiry, and the matters to be considered by the Inquiry. Copies of
